Stanford junior Kiki Iriafen, one of the top women's basketball players in the country heading into next season, has entered the transfer portal, a source confirmed to ESPN on Friday.

Iriafen, a 6-foot-3 forward from Los Angeles, was the leading scorer (19.4 points per game) and second-leading rebounder (11.0 average) this past season for the Cardinal, who finished 30-6 and lost in the NCAA Sweet 16 to NC State.

Iriafen had 26 points and 10 rebounds against the Wolfpack and 41 points and 16 rebounds in the Cardinal's second-round victory over Iowa State. She shot 54.6% from the field this season.

Her third season with the Cardinal was her best by far; she averaged 4.2 points and 2.2 rebounds as a freshman and 6.7 points and 3.8 rebounds as a sophomore.

Iriafen has a "do not contact" designation by her name in the portal, which generally indicates a player already knows where they want to transfer, or that they have narrowed their choices.

Iriafen would have been the biggest star for the Cardinal in 2024-25, especially with fellow post player Cameron Brink headed to Monday's WNBA draft, where she is expected to be a lottery pick. Iriafen is a potential lottery pick next year.

Stanford is joining the ACC and will have a new head coach next season. Tara VanDerveer announced Tuesday that she is retiring after 38 seasons guiding the Cardinal. Longtime assistant Kate Paye is expected to take over.
